Cheating and machine politics are not a new phenomenon. Here in WV, a former SC Justice, now serving time for corruption, wrote a book about Joe Kennedy buying WV for JFK, while his buddy Mayor Daley of Chicago provided Illinois. Nixon knew he had been robbed, but chose not to drag the country through the fight. Years, and a nasty war, with 50,000 dead later, Nixon won and ended the war.
His reward? Watergate. The toxicity of our politics has grown for some time, arguably put on a whole new level by the Clintons.
And yet, perhaps 30% of eligible voters can be troubled to make thier voice part of the chorus.
People who hate what is happening, but not enough to get off their asses to vote, let alone work for decent candidates, are not going to do more than whine.
Quite right, I’ve been saying something similar for a while. We have a behemoth (and unconstitutional) administrative state, a major political party, the fourth estate of media and big tech all aligned against the concepts and constraints imposed by the constitution. In theory the judiciary branch would operate to check their power, but the founders did not envision this and the courts are completely inadequate. I’d say we are already at the point of your last sentence. Elections now serve as entertainment and distractions to let the masses think we still have representative government.
I would posit that nullification of unconstitutional laws and policies is the correct answer. We can blame Lincoln for short sightedness on the topic, but our national documents are clear and provide us with a free conscious when we choose to ignore the corruptocrats and go along on our own path to liberty, reason, and the pursuit of happiness.
What are your thoughts on Jay Valentine’s theorythat if we clean the voter registration roles it will a very long way toward denying the Democrat Party the ability to harvest ballots?
They don’t have just one method in place. We are dealing with the same mafia based political machines the democrats have always operated. All the way back to when democrats executed Edgar Alan Poe during a vote fraud crime.

It would be worth the effort if it made a serious dent in the fraud.
The problem is that they’ve come up with multiple avenues to cheat.
