Lujan Grisham now says she doesn’t expect criminals to follow the order, but wants it to be a “resounding message” to the community to report their neighbors for violations.

This is an outcome of the way we were treated- and buckled under- during the COVID panic. It's all about the run up to the 2024 election, trying to see what we will tolerate, and looking for an end-around for laws she couldn't get through the legislature. To quote Frederick Douglass-
"Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”
Aside from the US Constitutional conflict, the NM constitution and existing laws have something to say about it. She has always been a political hack, trading on the now hyphenated Lujan name, and has never held a job out of government since she became a lawyer. In NM "Lujan" is an entire family of political parasites.
What I'd really like to know is the source of this bravado. I think someone put her up to this, and convinced her she would have a nice cushy position and/or a large contribution to her bank account, regardless of outcome. Whether this came from one of the Bloomberg funded anti-gun groups like "Everytown" or is DNC connected, we'll probably never know, but a clue will be where she ends up after her reign as queen of NM.
It is probably a crime but I will say it anyway. Someone needs to remove her from office in a very public and prejudicial way, not only to punish her for her violation of the Rights of The People, but to serve as an example to the rest of the idiots that get elected that We will not allow them to treat us as subjects any longer.
If the other politicians in New Mexico will not remove her through lawful means then it needs to be done outside the law by anyone who can make it happen.
I am sure the State Police provide her with a protective detail and they can make a statement by abandoning her to her fate or they can fall along with her, they are sworn to uphold the Constitution of the US and the state of New Mexico and their protectee is violating both of those documents. They are either going to live up to their oath or be found to be unworthy of continuing to collect their paychecks.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least to find out that the country’s far left governors all wanted to set this precedent. Choosing her to be the initial pariah by the luck of the draw.

If she isn’t impeached and disgraced from ever holding public office, we’re going to see this again and again until it’s routine from the national socialist left.

According to Salon magazine - they don’t seem to care about eroding the rule of law.
That means they aren’t planning on losing any more elections or they know that they are lying about him.
