Word Warfare Wednesdays – Invasion.
Announcing a new feature just for the Sub stack newsletter.
Even though it's late in the day, we'd like to announce a new series of essays just for Sub stack.
We're adding a few features in our effort to expand the reach of the newsletter, features that will be exclusive to Sub stack. These will be experiments, if you will, and a new series of essays on a vital subject – what we call 'word warfare.'
Now, that may not seem to be that exciting, but it is crucial in the fight for freedom. These message-building blocks have always been important to communications, and this subject has been a leftist obsession for decades.
How many times have you noticed the left all using the same word or phrase in unison? There are all kinds of videos of the media parroting the same word on the same day. This isn't by accident by any means, it is a concerted effort by the left to set certain narratives.
The idea is to look at the definitions for certain words or phrases, to see how they are being exploited by the left.
Our first example is 'ripped from today's headlines' as it were, on the subject of a Writ of Habeas Corpus.
A writ of habeas corpus (Latin: “you should have the body”) is a common law order issued by a judge or court requiring the appearance of a prisoner or detainee before the court for a specified purpose. The most common and important purpose of a such a writ is to determine the validity of a person’s arrest, imprisonment, or detention under relevant laws or constitutional provisions.
In the case of all the illegal invaders in the country. The left is purposefully trying to overload the system with the millions that streamed in over the open border over the last 4 years. However, there is a little more to the story:

Glenn Beck DEBUNKS the Biggest Deportation Lie | The Glenn Beck Program | Hour One 5/21/25
The Left is going after DHS Secretary Kristi Noem's definition of habeas corpus during a hearing of President Trump's immigration policies. Glenn dives deep into the history of habeas corpus, what it means, and its critical role in protecting your civil liberties. Glenn also exposes how the Left is weaponizing habeas corpus to flood the country with illegal immigrants. Habeas corpus doesn't mean we need to have endless and lengthy trials. Glenn proposes the President elect special judges whose sole purpose is to deliver speedy trials to deal with our immigration problem.
