Babylon Bee:
8 Potential Candidates To Replace Biden Before The Election
The Babylon Bee has exclusively obtained the following list of potential replacement candidates:
…
1. Taylor Swift: Though many saw it coming, years of meticulous Deep State planning is finally coming to fruition.
2. President Xi: He's been running the country behind the scenes for years, so he might as well make it official.
3. Claudine Gay: Just imagine all of the amazing State of the Union speeches throughout history that we'd get to hear again.
4. Chris Pratt: He's already appearing in every other role. Why not president?
5. One of Biden's many body doubles: It would be a seamless transition.
6. Daniel Day-Lewis: The only man more qualified than Joe Biden to pretend to be a president.
7. Harry Truman: Just like Joe Biden, he has presidential experience and he passed away years ago.
8. A life-sized wax sculpture of Joe Biden: No one would know the difference.

Politico:
Age isn’t just a number. It’s a profound and growing problem for Biden.
The new blunders detailed in the special counsel’s report have sparked fresh concern about the president’s mental fitness.
Special counsel Robert Hur jolted the presidential campaign Thursday with a withering assessment of Joe Biden’s mental acuity, drawing the president’s biggest political liability firmly into the public conversation.
While Biden’s age is a major concern for voters in polling, top Democrats have danced around the issue, keeping their concerns mostly private. But Hur’s description of Biden, 81, in an official report as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” may force a new reckoning for the president.
New York Times:
Eight Words and a Verbal Slip Put Biden’s Age Back at the Center of 2024
A special counsel’s stinging report and an uneven White House appearance captured Democrats’ fears about President Biden and fueled Republicans as they try to cast him as weak.
When President Biden appeared at a last-minute news conference on Thursday night, he hoped to assure the country of his mental acuity hours after a special counsel’s report had devastatingly referred to him as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
Instead, a visibly angry Mr. Biden made the exact type of verbal flub that has kept Democrats so nervous for months, mistakenly referring to the president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, as the “president of Mexico” as he tried to address the latest developments in the war in Gaza.
Axios:
BIDEN MEMORY HAS “SIGNIFICANT” LIMITATIONS, SPECIAL COUNSEL SAYS
Special counsel Robert Hur is not bringing charges following his investigation into President Biden's handling of classified documents, but wrote in a report released Thursday that Biden's actions presented "serious risks to national security."
Why it matters: The report ends a year-long and sprawling investigation but also concluded that Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen."
The Trump team will likely try to use the report's findings to try to minimize the felony charges he faces over his post-presidency handling of classified documents.
Driving the news: The report said that "Biden's memory also appeared to have significant limitations," citing his interview with the special counsel's office and recorded conversations with his ghostwriter.

Flashback reminder on the double standard Democrats:
Western Lensman: The Democrat election playbook explained a nine step plan to blame Donald Trump for the border crisis.
Step one, flood the country for three years with millions of illegal aliens.
Step two, watch approval numbers on the border drop below 20%.
Step three, election year is here. Decide you need to act now that you’ve let millions of illegals into the country and the American people are pissed.
Step four, line up some rhinos in the Senate to assist with the next phase of the plan.
Step five, work with the RINOs on a bipartisan basis to devise a garbage piece of legislation that would make the crisis considerably worse.
Step six, ensure the bill is so bad that becomes toxic for Republicans, so much so that even the Republican RINO leadership who helped negotiate it is forced to abandon it.
Step seven, message the doomed legislation as the strongest immigration and border bill in history, knowing the media will faithfully echo your propaganda.
Step eight, claim the only reason Republicans abandon the bill is because Trump wants to use the open border as a campaign issue.
Step nine, adopt your new 2024 campaign mantra the border crisis is Trump’s fault.
