Leftists are their own worst enemies – keep up the good work!
Substack first - The Commie fascist far left must have forgotten that you need to stop digging when you find yourself in a hole, so let’s give them some more shovels.
The world is going in two different directions these days – more accurately – most of the world is headed towards the practical, pro-freedom political right, with a small political minority headed by its lonesome over a cliff. They keep on insanely going in the wrong direction, destroying themselves, hence the headline that leftists are their own worst enemies and that they need to keep up the good work. Frankly, we’re okay with that, because it’s time that we get around to finally burying the collectivist ideologies for good. You almost have to laugh at all the damage they're doing to themselves, and get out of the way, but why not help them out in their self-defeating efforts? The latest extreme example is the LA wildfires.
Most sane, pro-freedom people have taken stock of the wildfire crisis in California and seen this as a warning sign of an extreme symptom of the insanity of the Commie fascist far left. Please note that we’re using this practical label because as Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., Associate Professor of History at Harvard noted in 1948:
In certain basic respects - a totalitarian state structure, a single party, a leader, a secret police, a hatred of political, cultural and intellectual freedom - fascism and communism are clearly more like each other than they are like anything in between.
[Emphasis added]
We’re done with their 100-year-old frauds on the political spectrum. We’ve been through the fact that this began with Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks tarring anyone who opposed them – as in the left-wing Mensheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries (SR) supposedly being ‘right-wing.’
The sane side of the world and the country see the burning down of one of our great cities as a warning sign that the side that has complete control of the state has truly lost the plot. While that fringe political minority sees the results of weather patterns that have always existed as proof of their 50-year-old, unfalsifiable belief in the fact that the climate always changes. Instead of taking practical steps in prescribed fire, pre-staging fire equipment for what everyone knew was coming and making sure the reservoirs were filled. They ignored the problem in favor of their luxury beliefs, knowing they could just fall back on their tried-and-true excuse: Climate change.
While we don’t agree with everything he says, Bill Mahr summarised the situation quite nicely in this recent monologue:
New Rule: Political Firestorm | Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)
Especially the fact that a 2022 study showed that: A single, devastating California fire season wiped out years of efforts to cut emissions.
The state’s record-breaking 2020 fire season, which saw more than 4 million acres burn, spewed almost twice the tonnage of greenhouse gases as the total amount of carbon dioxide reductions made since 2003, according to a study published recently in the journal Environmental Pollution.
Of course, he only scratches the surface in placing the blame squarely on the party that has a supermajority in the ‘People’s Republic of California.’
What is truly incredible is that while there is some disagreement in the pro-freedom community on whether this will finally make everyone aware of the extreme danger of leftism. The far-left side of the spectrum is still wondering why we’re not all buying into the climate cult and trading in carbon coins. Perhaps it’s the fact that the far-left keeps on changing terms to maintain their 50-year-old global grift that started with cooling, then warming and finally just to ‘climate change’ so everything’s a crisis no matter what happens.
As reported in the LA Times: fire officials could have put engines in the Palisades before the fire broke out. They didn’t. It’s probably easier to just blame it all on climate change and call it a day, but now even Axios admits it could be California's "red pill," especially since they have a supermajority in the legislature, so they can’t blame Republicans.
The big picture: Musk's bluster aside, Democrats acknowledge they face serious challenges in California that predate the fires — and that their supermajority in the legislature makes it difficult to blame Republicans.
This is why people are voting with their feet and California is leading the nation in out-migration, but at some point, people aren’t going to buy the excuses and demand real change.
However, this is only a symptom of their bigger problem, the country is shifting towards the pro-freedom side of the political spectrum with the GOP Holding an Edge in Party Affiliation for the Third Straight Year.
But leftists aren’t just losing in the states: The Left is more unpopular than at any time since the Cold War – except in Starmer’s Britain:
Left-wing parties are more unpopular now than at any time since the end of the Cold War, The Telegraph has assessed.
The analysis comes after a year of election triumphs for conservatives around the world, crowned by Donald Trump’s election as US president.
Right-wing groups emerged as the worldwide winners after more than 1.5 billion people voted in more than 70 countries in 2024, the most on record in a single year.
It’s not looking good for our good old commie fascists, as in this recent report from the LA Times: The biggest states that back them are shrinking.
Texas and Florida are growing rapidly. California, Illinois and New York have been shrinking.
With America’s population shifting to the South, political influence is seeping from reliably Democratic states to areas controlled by Republicans. Coming out of a presidential election where they lost all seven swing states, Democrats are facing a demographic challenge that could reduce their path to winning the U.S. House of Representatives or the White House for the long term.
So, now they’re flailing about, and according to NPR, some are looking for a new direction. But have no fear, a classic from the Nation proposes sticking to the same old insanity as usual in a piece entitled: How to Save the Democrats They’re in shambles. They need to change—fast. Here’s what they should do.
Where they recommend doubling down on the insanity of the climate cult:
Going forward, Democrats have to double down on proposals like the Green New Deal, not merely because it is smart policy but because, as New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reminds us, it’s the most effective counter to the right-wing lie that voters must choose between a robust economy and saving the planet.
It seems like leftists must have forgotten the first rule of holes – when you find yourself in one, stop digging. They can’t stop with their extremism that cost so many in California and even worse, they want to ‘double down.’ We would say, you go girl, but they can’t even make up their minds about that. So, here’s to they’re staying the course and digging themselves in even deeper, it couldn’t happen to a nicer cadre of collectivist authoritarians.
