Giving Thanks.
It's one of my failings that I'm not as well-versed in these types of messages, so I don't usually attempt the feat.
However, this year and this Thanksgiving are quite different given the circumstances. We dodged a bullet a few weeks ago, and while we're still not quite out of the woods, we can still relax and give thanks.
I firmly believe that the election will be seen as a turning point in the history of the world and not just of the states. The benefit of the perspective of time is that it can always give you new insights into past events, as well as what is presently occurring.
Part of that is looking back at the last election and seeing with the eyes and information of today, knowing two key insights. One that it was a fluke that the fascist far-left pulled out a 'victory.' And two, that it was a blessing in disguise because everyone now knows how bad – and insane the far-left can get. It almost makes you think it was a cosmic 'dad joke' that it took place in the year 2020 with hindsight and all.
We're in the proverbial 'eye of the hurricane' at this point and we know that the battle has just begun. But we are in good hands, and it's time to give thanks for everything he has done.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving.
