I love that you call it what it is, when it comes to those who would destroy our country.
Your reference to “Utopia” was excellent, too. I once had a boss who wanted to go public with an innovation he thought one of his minions created, but it was in fact a long used piece of technology. Of course the minion took credit for it. My response didn’t win me any favors, but I told them, “Just because you didn’t know about it doesn’t mean you invented it .”
The boss got smarter, began to check facts, and the minion sulked.
People need to understand that the supposed ‘new’ ideas of socialism can be traced back to Sir Thomas More’s ‘first socialist position’ – that references the ideas of Plato from 2000 years ago.
I’m not sure if it’s possible to account for all the times that socialism has been tried and ingloriously failed over the past 400 years.
Defeat the far left with words, logic, and argument? I doubt it, and I have tried for decades.
I am reminded of the old story about mud wrestling with a pig. (You get tired and dirty, and the pig enjoys it.) I think it is actually even worse, you might as well be an atheist arguing religion with a true believer. The terms used mean nothing to those who can rationalize away the actions we see today. Nothing you can say will reach the mind of the other party. Words are dismissed as worthless noise at best, or apostacy at worst. Those few people in the middle, the truly undecided who are honestly looking for information, are the only people worth the time- or the danger- to speak with. And make no mistake, having these kinds of discussions, particularly in person, is dangerous. Even online it can be dangerous. How many people have been doxxed and had trouble show up at home or at work? If it can happen to SCOTUS Justices and the police do nothing, it can happen to you. I believe it will become steadily more crazy as the election approaches, and no matter who wins, half the country will be- uh- let's say- "unhappy". Choose your battles wisely.
We’re really trying to convince the people in the middle, that’s our target audience. And when you can do it with one word or phrase, so much the better. Those people are on the wrong side of history, and they keep on hurling their National Socialist projections to distract from what they are doing. But that can only take them so far.
Unfortunately, you are correct in that we’re getting to a point where in person conversations can be dangerous, and it’s going to get insane as we approach the election – if we ever get there.
Happy new year – that saying has several meanings this time around.
Yes, I understand. The middle and those who are already right thinking are our only hope. As I was writing the earlier comment I was thinking first about the surveillance State and its lackeys on the ground both official and unofficial. Doxxing and lawfare directed at an individual are sort of like the proverbial "bullet with your name on it". Once targeted, you are going to become a casualty. It is the pop-up mob scenes (whether announced or not) that must also be considered. As we have seen before, these events where traffic is blocked and/or public places are besieged, are very dangerous. They don't have your name on them, they are addressed "to whom it may concern". As we get further into the year, I urge my friends to keep their eyes open.
My rule is that I use the tools of anonymity for the same reason that we have self-propelled artillery – to be able to get out of the way of counter battery fire.
It’s one of the biggest lies of the authoritarian left that they ‘care’ so much for free-speech. But just like the fact that they only want guns in their hands, they only want themselves to be able to speak.

Thank you.

That’s because they didn’t do it right! 🤣🙄
