“simply using the cause to prop up their own perceived moral superiority and social standing.” Is such a true statement. I am a visual artist, in my retirement years, and am exposed to this quite a bit. Because I don’t buy into what the New York galleries call art, I am often at odds with my fellow artists on that as well. There is an absolute need in people who have a poor self image of themselves to use the “social acceptance,” dialogue to make them feel “good.” Such a sad existence. All I can do is pray for them. Speaking the truth is always in order, but arguing doesn’t accomplish anything.
Keep on speaking the truth. God Bless you and yours.
